Literally Made-Up Conservatives! MANLY!!

Romney's Manly Pleasures

h/t viewimages.com

Yes, for all the faux grief that the conservative talking heads are giving John Edwards for getting his hair cut, at least he doesn't spend $300 on Makeup Consulting, like Mitt "Boy O' the Golden Plates" Romney!

Yes, it's true:  Mitt "Max Factor" Romney wears makeup!  Not only that, he pays "handsomely" for the privilege.  As politico.com and crooksandliars.com have reported, dear ole Mitt "Double the Size of Guantanamo" Romney has hired and paid "makeup consultants" some three hundred dollars recently.

Well, "communications consulting" is how presidential candidate Mitt Romney recorded $300 in payments to a California company that describes itself as "a mobile beauty team for hair, makeup and men's grooming and spa services."

Romney spokesman Kevin Madden confirmed that the payments -- actually two separate $150 charges -- were for makeup, though he said the former Massachusetts governor had only one session with Hidden Beauty of West Hills, Calif. That was before the May 3 Republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif., co-sponsored by MSNBC and The Politico.

Here's what the Manly Romney requires from the firm "Hidden Beauty" that provided his "makeup consultation":

But Stacy Andrews, who made up Romney for Hidden Beauty, said he barely needs makeup.

"He's already tan," she said. "We basically put a drop of foundation on him … and we powdered him a little bit."

And for that, they receive $150 a pop!  Not bad work, if you can get it...  You go girl!  Stacy, too! I think we know that, when Mitt dons the makeup, he does so in a "manly" way, unlike, say, Rudy Giuliani, who just looks kind cheap and slutty:

Rudy's inner self

What would politics in this country be without the silly, distracting non-issues to direct the public's attention away from the current administration's foreign policy disasters, currently spinning out of control in nauseatingly slow motion?

Barnum was right, so it would seem, so let us agree, then, that Edwards shall be derided roundly for his haircut by all concerned.
