Just in Case you Forgot: Bush is an Ass

Just in case you were wondering:  Bush is Still an Ass.

And he thinks you are stupid, to boot.

This idiot has once again "pulled a Cheney" and told Congress (and by extension, everyone they represent--you know, the American citizens) to "go fuck yourselves", by appointing Sam Fox as AmbASSador to Belgium.

You remember Belgium, of course.  Part of "Old Europe" from back in the days when the Shrub was unafraid to admit that he was untethered from reality (i.e., not a part of the "Reality based community")?  Not quite French, but somehow insufferably Gallic?  We apparently only need them now for cushy political sinecures.

You may recall as well that Bush donor Sam Fox (a self-professed "ignorant funder" of them thar Swift Boat Vets for "What Passes as Truth for Republicans") was not approved by the Senate for the position. 

Not Approved.

As he has done so often--most recently with the shiny new young Republican AUSA-bots--Bush slithers out of accountability to the American system of government with a cheap dodge:  the recess appointment.  It would be interesting to compare his use of this "heh!  gotcha!" mechanism with that of other presidents.

If you don't remember either of these items, be sure to see your neurologist to investigate the gross insult (to put it to a point) this conservative has rendered to your frontal cortex.  You can't say you weren't warned if you stroke out from cognitive dissonance. 

So, like so many of his cheesy/sleazy ploys, it begs the question:  What more--if anything--can be done by Bush to deepen and expand public cynicism in government?  

Not much. 

Instead, we should ask:  To what fresh hell is Bush trying to lead the nation, along a papier-mache primrose path?

The only proper response:  go for the hamstring.
